Our education

The world needs professionals who can adapt, think globally, and act responsibly. At THUAS, education is strongly practice-oriented and built around real-world projects. Students work on challenges provided by companies and organisations, gaining hands-on experience while developing essential skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and communication. Internships and project-based learning are an integral part of our programmes, ensuring that graduates are well prepared for international careers and a constantly evolving professional environment. Our research In addition to education, THUAS plays an important role in practice-oriented research. Through its Centres of Expertise and research groups, the university works closely with industry, government institutions, and international partners. The outcomes of this research directly feed back into education and contribute to solving societal challenges.

The Hague Summer School

THUAS also offers a summer school programme. The Hague Summer School provides a modular and international learning experience, focusing on global topics such as peace, justice, human rights, migration, and economic developments. A key element of the programme is the practical application of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
